Have you ever written a short story within the text confines of a Twitter post? I'm working my way through courses at Southern New Hampshire University to obtain my Bachelor's in English with a focus on Creative Writing. In a previous course, that was one of our assignments. Let me tell you, it was a struggle to tell a story but limit myself to no more than 240 characters.  Not words. Characters. Yes, that includes spaces and punctuation. What do you think?

 Hello and welcome! It's been a dream of mine to become a writer since I was in my early twenties. I spent a few years writing for my campus newspaper when I attended San Diego Mesa College. I wrote on a variety of topics, but enjoyed writing opinion pieces the most. Over the years, I've blogged about things in my life. I've had plenty of people tell me I should write and publish my stories. This is my attempt to see how fruitful that endeavor will be! -MJ
